The FJM800 Performance Package is our Stage 2 solution for the BMW M5 F90, built for those looking to push beyond OTS tuning and extract the full potential of the S63 platform. With a fully bespoke ECU calibration, paired with upgraded hardware and a refined gearbox tune, this package delivers raw performance with OEM drivability and real-world reliability.

• F90 M5 models built before June 2020 do NOT require a Femto unlock
• F90 M5 models built after June 2020 DO require a Femto unlock

What’s Included in the FJM800 Package

• FEMTO ECU Unlock: For post-June 2020 builds, we send your ECUs to Finland for Femto unlocking. This enables full access for advanced tuning strategies including ignition, torque, and boost control. Turnaround: 3–5 working days. Vehicle stored securely with us during the process.

• FJM Stage 2 Custom ECU Calibration. This is not a base map. We build your file from the ground up based on your fuel, conditions, and goals. Tuning is logged, refined, and tested to deliver safe, repeatable performance with OEM-level smoothness.

• Pro Tuning Freaks Bootmod3 licence - this is required to allow us to the your vehicle, note user portal will be given back to you, with many features you can use such as adjust pop, cold starts, diagnostics and many more features.

• FJM Catless Downpipes TIG-welded stainless steel with optional integrated heat shielding. Reduces backpressure, improves turbo response, and enhances sound.

• FJM Midpipe Upgrade / OPF/GPF Delete, high-flow midpipe system designed to reduce restriction and bring out a deeper, more aggressive tone from the S63.

• FJM Stage 3 XHP TCU Calibration, Refined shift mapping with increased shift speed, torque handling, true manual mode, paddle responsiveness, and rev-matched downshifts. This is essential to allow the gearbox to handle the full torque potential of our tune.

• FJM Drop-In Performance Filters (Optional) High-flow air filters that support increased airflow without compromising comfort or OEM fitment

Performance Expectations

(Based on Tesco 99 / Shell V-Power & Dragy testing)

• Power: Up to 800bhp > 710Whp
• Torque: 900+ Nm
• 0–60 mph: Approx. 2.7–3.2 seconds (xDrive)
• 100–200 km/h: Approx. 5.6–5.9 seconds
• ¼ Mile: Low to mid 10s, depending on tyres and launch

Install Process: A Turn-Key, Hands-Off Experience

Step 1 – Purchase Your Package, Secure your FJM800 booking.

Step 2 – Consultation, Our tech team will contact you to understand your goals, confirm ECU unlock needs, and guide you on fuel preparation.

Step 3 – Vehicle Drop-Off Drop your vehicle at one of our secure locations in Cambridge, Peterborough, or Essex. ECUs are sent for Femto unlock (if required).

Step 4 – Performance Hardware Installation, We install your selected downpipes, midpipe, and any intake upgrades. The car is road-tested before software calibration begins.

Step 5 – ECU & Gearbox Tuning, We install your XHP gearbox map and begin ECU tuning, followed by road logging and Dragy validation if requested (fuel cost passed on).

Step 6 – Vehicle Handover, Your vehicle is returned fully tested and ready. Our team will walk you through your BM3 map options (e.g. pop-bangs, burbles) and setup adjustments. 

Fuel Requirement: All vehicles must be running 99 RON fuel (Tesco Momentum or Shell V-Power) for at least 2 weeks prior to tuning.
