Return Policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days to request a return.
Exceptions: Some items, such as Midpipes and custom-made products, are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at INFO@FJMOTORWERKES.COM. If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on where to send your return package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate and assist. Claims must be raised within timely manner and well with returns period of receiving the item; otherwise, they will be considered invalid.
Please note that we verify fitment and product quality before dispatch for every item.
Defective Item Policy
We operate a simple and fair defective item policy. If any part is found to be defective, we will replace it like-for-like at no cost to the customer — no questions asked. To initiate a replacement, customers simply need to send clear images or a short video showing the issue to sale@fjmotorwerkes.com as proof. Once received, we dispatch the replacement immediately.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Strictly Non-Refundable – Software & Digital Products. All software-related goods, including coding services, software keys, and licences, are strictly non-refundable once issued, delivered, or activated. Activation constitutes full acceptance of the product, and all associated fees remain payable in full. Under UK consumer law, no cooling-off period applies to digital goods or software once activation or download has occurred. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to these terms without exception.
- Custom products (e.g., Midpipes, Custom exhaust systems, personalised items, or items made to your specifications). These are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- Sale items or gift cards.

Custom orders once confirmed are not refundable and do not carry cancellation period.
In exceptional circumstances, it may be possible to halt a custom order. However, this is only feasible during the early stages of production. Where cancellation is accepted, any costs already incurred, such as labour, materials, or non-refundable components, will be deducted, and these will be clearly outlined.
For custom products, the cooling-off period begins from the date of payment, if any.

Exchanges
To exchange an item, return the original item (subject to the return policy), and once your return is accepted, place a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For merchandise shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days from the date of purchase. As above, your item must be unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
Exceptions: Custom or made-to-order items (e.g., Midpipes, personalized products) are non-refundable. Buyers are liable for return shipping costs.
Overseas Returns and Customs Fees
For customers returning items from overseas, please note that you are responsible for carriage, customs & import fees incurred when returning the product to us. Relevant details will be forwarded to help proceed.
Fitting Disclaimer
We do not provide fitting support, and our products do not come with instructions unless explicitly stated. We strongly recommend professional fitting. If you choose to install the product yourself, you do so at your own risk.
Refunds or exchanges will not be granted for items damaged due to improper installation. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and legally accept full responsibility for ensuring the product is professionally fitted.
If you choose to use one of our recommended fitters, please be aware that this is provided strictly as a recommendation. FJ Motorwerkes does not accept any liability for work carried out by third-party garages, whether during installation or after completion. All fitting services remain the sole responsibility of the selected garage.
Labour Charges & Responsibility Policy

No Coverage for Labour Costs
We do not cover any labour charges under any circumstances. The contract for installation or fitting is solely between you and your chosen fitters. -
Delays & Labour Costs
We are not responsible for any labour costs incurred due to delays in production, courier services, or any other unforeseen events that may cause delays in delivery. -
Mistakes & Exchanges
While mistakes are rare, they can occasionally occur. It is the responsibility of your selected garage or fitter to identify any issues at the earliest convenience. If an exchange is required, we will be happy to facilitate this; however, labour costs will not be covered. -
Warranty & Exclusions
Any items sold at a discount, whether as part of an out-of-season, sale, or classified as dead stock are excluded from warranties and all usual purchasing facilitations. These items are sold as seen and are non-returnable unless stated otherwise. It is your duty to complete checks before purchase, our team can be of assistance to you.
Chargebacks
By proceeding with a purchase, you agree that any chargeback initiated due to dissatisfaction with installation, improper fitting, or product damage during self-installation will be considered invalid. We reserve the right to dispute such chargebacks.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, a refund will be processed within 48 hours, and the funds will reflect on your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
If you ordered the wrong part or made multiple purchases for convenience, you are responsible for the original shipping and return shipping costs. Restocking fees may also apply.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and we do not receive your item, the return will be closed.
Product Warranties
If we detect foul play or accelerated wear, the warranty may be voided. We may request images, videos, or inspect your vehicle to validate warranty claims. Motorsports parts carry limited warranties as it’s your duty to maintain.
Warranty Policy
Different products carry different warranty periods. Any defects must be reported within 1 hour of receiving your package.
All warranties cover manufacturing defects only and exclude damage caused by:
• Accidental damage
• Misuse or improper installation
• Neglect or lack of maintenance
• General wear and tear
Components such as valves, moving parts, and serviceable items may not be covered, as these are considered wear-and-tear components.
All products supplied are motorsport and performance-related parts. Due to the nature of these products, many companies offer little to no warranty beyond 28 days. Our warranty is provided in good faith but is subject to the conditions outlined above.
Inspections & Claims Process
Where necessary, parts may need to be returned for inspection at our Peterborough (UK) hub.
• Customers are responsible for all costs associated with returning items for inspection
• We are not liable for shipping, labour, or any related fees
• For overseas customers, we will work with you remotely where possible; however, your full cooperation is required, and return of goods may still be necessary
Product-Specific Warranty
• Exhaust Tips: 3–6 months warranty (dependent on style and finish)
• Downpipes: Lifetime warranty (Valid for original purchaser)
• Midpipes: Lifetime warranty on welds and structural integrity (Valid for original purchaser)
• Catback Systems: Lifetime warranty on welds and structural integrity (Valid for original purchaser)
• Carbon Fibre Parts: 6–12 months warranty (dependent on product)
• Taillights: 12 months warranty
Important: We reserve the right to request proof of purchase, proof of ownership, and valid identification to process and validate any warranty claim.
