Shipping Policy

UK Shipping

At FJ MotorWerkes, we offer fast, secure and reliable shipping throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and Worldwide.

Most UK orders are delivered within 1–3 working days from the date of dispatch. We use trusted courier services including FedEx, DPD, DHL, UPS and Evri, selecting the most suitable carrier for each order.

Delivery times quoted are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Whilst we endeavour to dispatch all orders promptly, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing your courier details and tracking information.

If you purchase multiple items, they may be dispatched separately depending on stock availability, warehouse location or manufacturing lead times. Separate tracking numbers will be provided where applicable.


Custom Made & Special Order Products

Many FJ MotorWerkes products are manufactured, modified or ordered specifically to customer requirements. As such, these products may be exempt from the statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, where they constitute bespoke, personalised or special-order goods.

Lead times vary depending on the product and current production schedule. Estimated lead times are displayed on our product listings wherever possible. All lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

If a cancellation request is received before production has commenced or before the product has been ordered from our supplier, we will consider the request on a case-by-case basis.

Once production has commenced, materials have been allocated, engineering has begun, or a product has been specially ordered from one of our suppliers, cancellation may be refused.

Where FJ MotorWerkes agrees to accept a cancellation after this stage, a fixed administration and production charge of between £149 and £199 will apply. This charge represents a genuine contribution towards administration, supplier processing, payment processing fees, engineering time, production scheduling and other costs already incurred and is not intended to operate as a penalty.

Should costs already incurred exceed the above administration charge, FJ MotorWerkes reserves the right to recover any additional reasonable losses where permitted by law.


Shipment Tracking & Delivery Updates

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing your courier details and tracking number.

Following dispatch, responsibility for monitoring the shipment rests with the customer using the tracking information provided. Customers are expected to monitor tracking updates, respond promptly to courier communications and ensure someone is available to receive the delivery where required.

Whilst FJ MotorWerkes will always provide reasonable assistance where appropriate, we are under no contractual obligation to provide routine, daily or periodic shipping updates, nor are we required to manually monitor individual consignments on behalf of customers.

Should a genuine delivery issue arise, we will make reasonable efforts to assist by liaising with the courier where appropriate.


International Shipping

We proudly ship worldwide using fully tracked express courier services.

Typical delivery times after dispatch are:

  • United Kingdom: 1–3 working days
  • Europe: 2–7 working days
  • USA & Canada: Approximately 5–7 working days
  • Rest of World: Usually 4–10 working days

Many international customers receive their orders sooner depending on destination and customs processing.

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and cannot be guaranteed.


Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by their country’s customs authorities unless otherwise stated.

These charges are not included within the purchase price or shipping costs and must be paid by the recipient before delivery where applicable.

Any parcels refused due to unpaid customs charges may be returned to FJ MotorWerkes. Any return shipping costs, customs charges or administration costs incurred will be deducted from any refund where applicable.


Delivery Delays

Whilst every effort is made to deliver orders within the estimated timescales, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Customs inspections
  • Flight or transport delays
  • Peak seasonal demand
  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Courier network disruptions
  • Industrial action
  • Border security checks
  • Government restrictions
  • Force majeure events

Such delays do not constitute a breach of contract by FJ MotorWerkes.

Where reasonably possible, we will assist customers by contacting the courier and monitoring the shipment; however, transit times remain the responsibility of the shipping carrier once goods have been dispatched.


Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address supplied at checkout is complete and accurate.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, or the customer fails to collect or accept delivery, any additional shipping, storage, return or redelivery charges incurred shall be the responsibility of the customer.


Risk & Ownership

Ownership of the goods transfers to the customer once payment has been received in full.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided during checkout, in accordance with applicable UK consumer legislation.


Lost, Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, you must notify FJ MotorWerkes within 48 hours of delivery and retain all original packaging for inspection by the courier.

Claims for lost or missing parcels will be investigated with the relevant courier before any replacement or refund is considered.

False claims of non-delivery or fraudulent chargebacks will be vigorously defended using courier tracking data, GPS delivery information, photographic evidence, proof of delivery and, where applicable, signature confirmation.
